WWII GERMAN M35 'NORMANDY' CAMOUFLAGE HELMET- NAMED - EF64

PRICE: 1.950 EURO

Available

REF 2023/HELM1001

DESCRIPTION

This is a worn three-colour ‘Normandy’ type camo helmet with a worn named liner. The Normandy Camo is a yellow, green and brown paint. Collectors use the “Normandy” terminology

but helmets in this three-colour scheme have been found in all occupied countries.

The helmet retains up to 85% of its normandy camouflage. The helmet is marked EF64 and3510in the back. The liner is a size 56 and has no chin strap. The liner is nicely named to Bauens. We found an obergefreiter Arthur Bauens who was killed on 12/09/1944 near Firenze, Italy but it is unsure if this is the same soldier.

The liner is still flexible but slightly dry, with only three flaps remaining. The leather can be replaced easily if the collectors want to do so. The helmet is never taken apart.

Camouflage helmets in this condition do not come on the market often and are increasing in price. A rare and good investment piece for the future.
